Basic Google StreeyView operation.

In StreetView hover the mouse over the road ahead and when a disc appears double click it to move your viewpoint to that position.

You can drag the mouse over the view to pan or tilt the direction of your view.

Change the + - slider on the left of the map or if you have a scrolling mouse with a centre wheel it will zoom toward or away from your view point. Zooming far back will change the view to an map plan view. In this mode you can drag the little yellow man to any road position, drop him and that will become your new viewpoint.
